Kyle LeBoeuf

A plain, boring site containing my musings on various subjects, mostly tech

About Kyle LeBoeuf

I’m Kyle LeBoeuf.

I’m a tech enthusiast, blogger, Apple evangelist, musician, and coffee-drinker. I started this website so I could have a place to write about what I want. I have been involved in the IT field for a few years now and have experience in supporting both Mac OS X and Windows. I worked for the local school system and various small IT companies before nabbing a job working for a company that deals exclusively in fruit products. I am now currently an IT consultant for a small firm that services the Acadiana area. I’m a student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in MIS. In my free time, I often write, read, and hang around the coffee shops for interesting conversation.

I also write about deeper, more philosophical/spiritual stuff here.

I can be reached via email at kyle [at] kyleleboeuf.com

Interesting Links

To read (Tech):

  • Lifehacker: Awesome website containing lots of software, hardware, and practical DIY (Do-it-yourself) hacks to make your life or workflow easier…or less boring.
  • Engadget: Discusses some of the latest products and happenings in the tech world. Usually contains a humorous spin on technology.
  • TechCrunch: Awesome technology blog covering the happenings on Silicon Valley. Puts a lot of spotlight on startups and new, interesting software
  • MacRumors: A news website that deals exclusively in reporting on rumors on products in Apple realm. I use this website over others because it has a tendency to deal with the more credible rumors, rather than the wild speculation that plagues other Apple rumors websites.

To read (other):

  • Don Miller: A christian writer with an interesting spin on spirituality. Wrote Blue Like Jazz, To Own a Dragon. You can also read his blog here and follow him on Twitter here
  • Andy Manning: Baptist preacher who is not your average baptist preacher. Who gives a sermon in jeans?
  • Stuff Christians Like: Playing on the meme from the Stuff White People Like blog, Jon (the author), gives a humorous viewpoint of various aspects of the lifestyle typical of Christians today.
