Hey guys,
Over the past week, I’ve been working on implementing a new look for the site (if you are viewing this post in a feed reader or email, please go here and see the new design for yourself). After a few hours of tweaking code, I have finally finished and activated the new design.
I received inspiration for the look of the site from Ryan Block, former editor-in-chief at Engadget and co-founder of a new gadget review site (appropriately named “gdgt“). I began to look for a theme that had a single column for content and a wide sidebar but couldn’t find anything I really liked until I came across Grid Focus, a three-column website designed for publishers seeking a minimalist theme that is easily customizable. Having found my perfect theme, I then messed around with it bit, removing one of the columns and widening the remaining two, as well as adding my own buttons to the navigation bar.
So, have a look around. This is the new Kyleleboeuf.com. Hope you enjoy it

Working on fixing a problem I’ve been having with the website,
As a result, you may see some downtime. Apologies for the inconvenience.

UPDATE (10:25 AM): We’re back. That was a lot quicker than what I thought. The ad code is apparently embedded deep in the files somewhere, so I had to reinstall the theme. Thanks to Daniel Weber and Ben Spell for helping me solve the problem.
I’m LOVING the new Wordpress. It adds a lot of built-in functionality that was greatly needed, as a lot of the cooler features were provided by plugins. Not any more!
Now, I can browse for and install plugins from the Wordpress dashboard without add-ons, and I can upgrade the wordpress installation itself without the Automatic Upgrade plugin.
And this post? Written with a nifty feature called “Quickpress.” Basically allows me to write new posts from the Dashboard Home. Awesome
Yay for the new Wordpress!
Thanks to a coder over at the spanish blog Sociable (link in Spanish), we now have Facebook Connect.
If you are currently logged into Facebook, you should see some information in the widget to the right. If you wish to link your account with this site, you will need to logout and log back in again using the “connect” button that appears in the widget.
While logged in, you can add comments, just like a registered user.
There’s still a few bugs for the developer to work out, so hang tight will the wrinkles are ironed out. Basic functionality should be available.
Hey everyone. Letting you guys know that the RSS feed served through Feed burner has been changed.
You can access it here:

I’m working on a few things for the site as we speak. Rather than have a place for pictures and what not, I’ll put that project off for a later date and instead turn this into a general about me page and a blog where I can talk about things that don’t neccessarily have anything to do with religion, like my other blog.
Stay tuned to the site for more information. I’ll post more details as I get close to releasing the site.
